Beautiful apartment, has clearly been renovated with a lot of style and care. Everything is of a high standard, works perfectly! Hosts Frederica and Luca are wonderful, very attentive and helpful with anything you need. Excellent location, few minutes from the centre, but also very quiet. Thoroughly recommend!

Incredible apartment renovated with love, as you can see in every corner. Fantastic location and hosts. We were so fortunate to stay here for night to see a concert at the Lucca Summer Festival. Very special place.

Everything! The property is in a great location and is an easy walk from the train station. The apartment is charming, very tastefully decorated, and is fully equipped. The bedroom is spacious, has ample storage and a very comfortable bed. The convivial hosts provided many excellent recommendations about restaurants and things to do.

Everything! The apartment is delightful and perfect for a family of four (2 littles). It’s bright and a really engaging space which is wonderfully decorated with trinkets and treasures everywhere. Thoughtful details such as tea and coffee, hairdryer and washing up liquid were provided. Federica and Luca are wonderful people and their food and restaurant recommendations were fantastic. Plenty of storage space for all of our things whilst we stayed and a washing machine to help with laundry (required when trying to travel light with a 5 yo and a 1 yo)! it’s really well located - a stones throw from the entrance to the historic centre of Lucca. Piazza Anfiteatro is five minutes walk away, Piazza Santa Maria (to hire bikes) 2 mins walk away, Lucca Train Station 20 mins walk away (allow 30-40 mins if travelling with small children, carrying luggage and needing to catch a train). Lucca is fantastically located just 33 mins train to Pisa, 1 hour 20 mins to Florence and 30 mins to Viareggio.

These are not dislikes, as I said we lived the apartment. If we could give any feedback to enhance the experience, it would be to have the downstairs hallway walls sealed as they’re very dusty and if you brush past them, it’s easy to get your clothes covered in dust. Easy enough to wipe off so a minor thing really. Secondly, if a coat stand or some hooks could be provided in the hallway for coats/jackets, this would make the apartment perfect! We found because it was winter, our thick coats kept falling off the chair in the hallway and there wasn’t anywhere to hang it. By no means would any of this stop us from returning.

This place should be the gold standard for holiday apartments. Tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, great location and thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful. Their food recommendations made our trip!
