Would love to stay again but costs may be an issue. Pillows could be softer Another one next door so our friends can stay!
GBWe loved the cabin, setting and all the facilities. It was exactly what we needed for a quiet break away. So peaceful at night cooking on the firepit and soaking in the hot bath! Lovely comfy bed and pretty views of the forest. The hosts were very helpful with communication.

GBPerfectly appointed cabin in a glorious setting. A little haven of luxury and peace, the outside space was second to none with the firepit and bath used every day. Lovely walks to local pubs also, can't fault the cabin in anyway.

GBEverything about the place is perfect, me and my husband cannot fault this place, the location is beautiful and the cabin is immaculate. We were looking for a secluded getaway for our 2nd wedding anniversary and The Cabin in the Woods did not fail to provide that. The view from the cabin is breathtaking, we went on many beautiful walks in the attached forests. Pair the view with the fire pit and your favourite person and you are in for a treat. The cabin itself is super cosy and very modern with all you need for a secluded getaway Our highlight of the trip though had to be the bath. Until you have a bubble bath outside under the stars by candlelight you will never know you need too!! Honestly had to be one of the most magical experiences. Thank you David and Sara, we shall be back ♥️♥️
It's not a 'didnt like' but more of a suggestion. It would be lovely if there had been the option for add ons, for example locally sourced meats/cheeses hampers, extra logs/charcoal (We had been advised to bring some ). Just a thought, there was something we didn't like.... The having to leave 🤣
GBGreat location, great facilities and a perfectly relaxing time. Wood for fire included, coals for BBQ and everything else you may need for a short stay. Could not enjoy the place more, would definitely stay again
Links to nearest shops are limited. Have to drive to get some bits, make sure you come fully stocked. Would like a hairdryer as well if possible
GBThe cabin is more tranquil and beautiful than the pictures are able to show. Other than the sounds of nature it is so quiet and secluded, a real break from the chaos of life. Inside the cabin is clean amd stylish, with a wonderfully comfortable bed adorned with egyptian cotton sheets, facing a large window that has gorgeous veiws of the woods. The hosts very thoughtfully supplied some fire wood, tea/coffee, fresh towels, sliders to wear outside and a little welcome treat! Locally there are several good pubs, The Duke on the Test was our favourite, most of them are within walking distance (remember to stay hydratrated if it's hot!) And Romsey is a short drive away. All in all we 100% be returning, thank you for an amazing, relaxing getaway.
