Excellent location and views

Noise from penthouse, not deliberate just noisy floor boards

The property had great views, was clean and comfortable and was in a great location.

Great location with views over harbour and easy access to cliff walks, village and ferry to Fowey. Comfortable house with reasonable facilities and parking (a real bonus in Polruan) at additional cost close by.

No direct car access; you have to back down narrow lane to unload 10m from house and then carry luggage down steep steps and consequently wouldn't suit those with limited mobility, large cars or those less comfortable with negotiating narrow Cornish lanes. Basic supplies in house are very limited compared to other houses so you will need to have adequate supplies of soap, shampoo, toilet rolls etc

Nothing - although the roads into Polruan are narrow - next time would probably choose to park in the public car park at the top of the hill (same price for the week - £30, rather than pay for the parking option) as the last few metres are VERY tight and you run the gauntlet of scratching your car …
