Hotel Galidon Wellness Park & SPA

Carina e curata la struttura, il personale disponibile, la zona vicino al mare (meno di 5 minuti con lo scooter), bello il percorso kneipp. C'è una navetta per la vicina spiaggia di Citara e per il centro di Forio. Ci sono 2 piscine termali esterne, una con idromassaggio e una piscina interna, inoltre una vasca bassa e una piscina non termale , per un totale di 5 vasche più percorso kneipp e una grotta naturale che in realtà è un bagno turco e non sauna

Dalle foto su internet la piscina aveva un colore limpido ma non era così nella realtà, pur essendo acqua termale era completamente diversa da quella di altre piscine termali della zona, sembrava torbida. In effetti veniva poco usata nonostante ci fossero tantissimi clienti. La colazione purtroppo era poco varia per essere un 4 stelle (3 tipi di dolci). In camera pur essendoci un terrazzino mancava un filo per poter stendere asciugamani e costumi.

The territory of the hotel is fantastic, I admire the people who take great care of the most amazing plants and flowers day after day. Great respect to you, guys 👍 Shuttle service was nice, although I sometimes doubted about the schedule. Not always handy, but thank god it exists. As for me I used to go to the beach on foot since it was downhill and come back on a shuttle. There are also bus-stops next to the hotel if you wish to go to SantAngelo or elsewhere, and busses are cheap. Cleaning ladies are extremely friendly. You should not drink tap water, fill your bottle at the pool bar for free.

When I was checking in it turned out that the air-conditioning didn't work in my room and the fridge was "it don't freeze, but if you put cold things in it they stay cold." Okay. Airco was fixed, I turned the fridge to the max, it didn't die for the next 9 days. Breakfast was always the same, day after day, little to no variety. The tray with scrambled eggs wasn't filled right after it was emptied. Restaurant staff acts funny if you have "breakfast only" reservation: every morning they move you from table to table until you make a strong objection. Not a scene, one should have respect for other people on vacation. Guests... Will be guests. The hotel hosts mostly people from the Eastern European countries, so don't expect anyone to be able to speak English, although everyone is quite friendly... ...Until you want to step into a bubble-bath one hour before closing at 19:00. There will be at least 6 people in a bath of 3x4, chatting happily to each other, not wearing showercaps, not noticing you are sitting next to them for about half an hour waiting for your turn. Make sure you have cash upon checking out: you have to pay a tourist tax of 3€ per day. No card. Not even when a taxi is waiting for you. Enjoy your stay at Galidon particularly and Italy in common 🤗

Quite good location, beach is a 10-15 minutes hike from there. Bus stops just outside the hotel. Nice selection of pools, some of them didn’t have a lot of users so it was kind of private to use them. Ok breakfasts, nothing special but generally good. We had rooms with terrace on the back of hotel so pretty quiet and sometimes visited by local cat :)

Arrivati all hotel galidon Cecilia ci ha fatto sentire accolti coccolati la struttura da ristrutturare ma pulita curata bella... il cameriere sulla piscina ci ha servito da vip sono di una gentilezza unica.. colazione eccellente abbondante tutto curato sul buffet c erano anche gli stuzzicadenti insomma una vacanza da sogno.
