The Cottage @ Wetlands

Such a beautiful home away from home. A perfect place to relax and unwind, also a great location to discover the area. Nix, the host, is simply wonderful, very helpful and generous. We will be back and recommending this gem.

Loved everything thing about it, the location, the scenery, it was all just perfect. Everyone on the farm was so warm and friendly, the lovely lady who cleans even took our little one for a walk around the property and he loved it. We feel relaxed and refreshed after our week at the cottage.

Wonderful accommodation in idyllic surroundings. Everything was perfect, and we were spoilt by our delightful hosts Nix & James, who were so thoughtful and helpful, not minding if we wandered around their property to admire the Wetlands scenery and in particular the bird life (watch out in particular for the fish eagles). Excellent facilities - even down to the canoes, which we were unfortunately unable to use because of low water levels. Perfectly situated too, near to Plettenberg Bay (we recommend the strenuous hike around Robberg Peninsula) and not too far either from The Birds of Eden (an absolute must) and Nature's Valley and the beautiful passes. What more can we say? We would heartily recommend this place.

Great little cottage, spacious with all necessary kitchen amenities. Lovely welcome farm basket and super, responsive host. Gated entrance and private garden was lovely with a fire pit although we didn't get a chance to use it.

Lovely stay. Our host Nix had all the details covered in this beautiful cottage just outside Plett. (5 min drive). Highly recommend staying here.

Nix has a keen eye for detail and has equipped and furnished The Cottage excellently. The small details such as yoga mats for exercising or a cooler box should you decide to have a picnic were what made this stay so special. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could've stayed for longer!
