Very spacious apartment in a quite street with nice sea view from upper terrace. There is own parking space which was much appreciated.

We spent enjoyable 10 days in this apartment. This is actually a half of the house with very spacious rooms, so it is comfortable even for bigger groups as it gives a lot of privacy. There are two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a small living room with a sofa. The house was very clean, did not have a typical Madeira damp smell, so it is a big plus. The kitchen was well equipped, there were some basic kitchen ingredients as spices or oil, which we very much appreciated, so we did not have to buy that. There was a welcome gift in the form of a cake and some juice. We used the washing machine several times and it is kept clean with no signs of mold. The outside terraces are lovely and have a nice view over the ocean and the hills. I would say overall the apartment looks even better than the pictures provided. There was a safe parking space in front of the entrance behind a closed gate, so we did not have to worry about the rental car getting scratched. The gate is quite narrow and it takes some practice to get comfortable with driving through it, but that is a typical madeiran experience. One thing to mention is that this building is shared with the neighbors, so be respectful. The building is close to the center of the village, so there are some shops and bars within the walking distance.

The only thing I would maybe complain is that I would appreciate if the amount of toilet paper or coffee capsules would be adjusted to the length of the stay. We had 7 coffee capsules for 10 days and had to buy some additional toilet paper.

It is a great house, with everything you could need.

It was a bit cold with only one heater.
