Really cosy clean cottage with everything needed for a lovely stay. Very good communication from the owners and easy to find.

That I didn't come here at the start of my break, I could have stayed for longer!

"Cosy beautiful property. So relaxed. Perfect to switch off or as a base for epic hiking routes"

10.0

All facilities perfect for a few nights. The property is relatively small (2 up 2 down) but the rooms are so well proportioned and make excellent use of all space. The log burner is a really nice touch! Location excellent for access to hills, though NB the direct route to wych cutting is pretty steep (don’t try and run up it like I did!) there is plenty of parking o. The road. Whilst it feels tight at first (we drive a large SUV) there is plenty of space - even on bib day when a lorry passes comfortably.

Nothing. It was genuinely excellent

Very cosy and comfortable. Great location. We stayed over New Year and had a panoramic view of the fireworks across the county.

A beautiful cottage, warm, comfortable and it felt very homely. A lovely place to relax after exploring the hills and town. The hosts were quick to reply to messages and always friendly and helpful

"If you love cleaning and want to clean on your holiday because you love cleaning, this is for you!"

1.0

The location is good as a base. The view from the rooms is lovely. When you arrive, the place is clean, that's because everyone who stays is bullied into cleaning.

You get sent an email before your stay is over reminding you to.. strip the bed, clean the kitchen, place items in the bath, leave it tidy, clean up etc... when I read the first sentence of the email I thought they got our booking wrong and didn't know we were staying 2 nights. The welcome book is also full of the same rules. They tell you to leave the keys in the lock box with the most simplist code ever, as they don't trust you to look after keys. The house is full of plants randomly placed in odd spots like next to the toilet. The cottage is very pretty but the rules are very unwelcoming and rude, saying we don't charge for cleaning so please do our chores. You can't check in until 4pm and you must leave by 10am... so expect an early rise on departure to clean for them after paying a fairly good amount for your stay. £172 for 2 nights, you expect someone to clean up after you on your HOLIDAY or at least bare minimum strip the bed. Also the fire should be set up according to the rule book, this does not happen. The heating is set on timers again with rules. Not inviting, not welcoming, making what is a pretty place full of chores and regret.. I would not recommend this place unless you are obsessed with cleaning up on your much deserved BREAK from the daily grind. This place is no get away.
