The Nook En-suite Room

Comfortable bed and ensuite facilities. The ensuite and room were very clean. The TV had Netflix and was good to watch a variety of programmes .The owner sent a text with clear directions of how to enter the building.

There was a kettle and tea and coffee, but there wasn't any uht milk satchets. Could have done with a bin in the bedroom.

The host Julie is very approachable and responsive. I didn't meet her during my stay, but the directions given for locking & un locking the room and house were perfect. The house is in a quiet residential area, 20 min walk from the town centre. Very clean kitchen with separate fridge freezer space and cupboard for each guestroom. Great cooking facilities. The washing machine and dryer were also great and easy to use. There is clothes drying stand and iron for common use. Neat & compact Living/ dining room. My ensuite room on first floor ( the Nook) was nice size with Queen size bed, tea making facility, plenty of storage space. Bathroom was good size with small shower area. Good clean towels and shower gel & shampoo provided

Shared kitchen and living / dining room were very good for a ahort stay - good kitchen and fridge etc (although at first we couldn't find crockery)

Stairs were very steep and 4 flights to attic room
