The Wasdale Head Inn & Apartments

The Apartment we rented was exceptional, the staff placed us in the burnmor room and it was lovely , Cosy and quaint , with literally everything we needed in the kitchen , living room and bedroom area. The bath was such a lovely addition as it was great to soak after hiking the local surroundings

There was only the one shop within a 1 hour drive , so the shop on the property that sells all the outdoor equipment and some sweets and milk , should maybe consider selling fruits and breakfast cereals and maybe some additional groceries. Other than that everything was perfect.

This is a splendid old-style walkers' inn and pub, with big fires and a wonderful atmosphere in the bar and appropriate basic accommodation suitable for outdoor types rather than leisure seekers. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. The location is spectacular (and very remote)

Nothing other than the downstairs loo/upstairs bedroom that some rooms have. The secret is to treat it as the perfect base for getting out into the amazing countryside, rather than lounging around in.

Breakfast was great as was the location.

The price seems high, but perhaps the price is in line for the area. When converting GBP to CAD it was pricey.

Very fiendly staff.

Emplacement unique. Plein de charme. Personnel sympathique et serviable. Nourriture excellente.
