The location was amazing. Lovely views of the harbour. Short walk to the shops and restaurants and parking nearby. Rooms were a lovely size.

The fridge door would not close properly, we had to lean the ironing board against it to keep the door closed properly as we had milk in there. The top of the fridge had not been cleaned but the rest of the apartment was clean and tidy. The deco is very dated.

The location & views were fantastic. But the rest was terrible.

The property is very tired. Toilet brushes were rancid. Heating controls on bedroom radiator broken off completely so no way of regulating the heating. The cold tap on the bath did not work - so I couldn’t bathe my children. Fridge door did not shut properly. We had to put a chair against it to keep it closed. Cooker hood hanging off - very unsafe. Bedroom door handle ( from the inside ) almost hanging off - this could result in being trapped! We had to keep the bedroom door open. Bedroom Curtains ripped & torn. 3 old TVs left in the living room. Emergency lighting was blinding during the night if someone needed the bathroom. I love mis-matched furniture to create a ‘quirky’ look .. but this was very unloved & needs money spent to justify the rental price. Repairs need to be made to unsafe appliances & door handles.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price I really wanted to like this property, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. We paid around £700 for two nights (approximately £350 per night), so naturally, we had high hopes given the price point. Sadly, the quality fell far below what we expected. Firstly, there were no towels provided — something that was not mentioned when booking, which was a major inconvenience. There was also no hand soap in the kitchen, and we were left with only a quarter roll of toilet paper per bathroom, with no spares provided. For a property at this price, you would expect basic amenities to be available. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, with springs clearly felt through the mattresses, making it very difficult to sleep well. The carpets were dusty and dirty, and we found rubbish left in the cupboards, including a stack of old TVs. Additionally, one of the showers was not working during our stay. Overall, the property felt neglected and poorly maintained. I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to read all reviews carefully. I ignored a few negative reviews before booking and regret it. To add, Booking.com was not helpful when I raised these concerns, so I would also caution booking through them directly for this property. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on our experience. Please look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.
