perfect location on the hill at a very calm place between center and wetlands,in the nature with plenty of birds and animals. Beautiful view on the Kinabalu mount !

This is the MOST beautiful apartment! It is huge, breezy, quiet, relaxing and set in the middle of the forest - but only 10 minute walk to town. The apartment was totally well appointed, with a full kitchen with everything that you will need for cooking during your stay and a big dinning table, a washing machine and an outdoor drying area, and a little balcony where we had tea in the morning. The HUGE bedroom has a king sized bed and the super comfortable living room has a queen-size fold out couch (if you need it), so the 3 of us had tons of space. The hosts were great - they met us when we arrived, showed us around and explained a little about the place- they live next door so you can get help with anything you might need but still have a bunch of privacy. There was tea/local coffee and basics for breakfast, but we ate out while we were here. I would recommend this spot to anyone who wants peace and tranquility while still being really close to the centre of town. Some things to note: -The location can be a little tricky to find, but the hosts are there to meet you and show you around the place. -This apartment is located down a very steep hill, be prepared for walking up and down it! -The owners have 4 rescue dogs, they are kept separate and were not a problem, but this is definitely not a place for people who don't like dogs. -Our grab driver had a hard time finding the place, so be sure to get the directions from the hosts and follow them!
