Overall, a good amount of space for our group of 6 people. The place was mostly clean. Very convenient to walk around Bergen from the house

In one room, I did find someone else’s dirty towel hanging. And the dirty sheets from the previous stay were bundled up and stuffed into the closet. There are no garbage cans anywhere in the house. Upon arrival, there were also no garbage bags. There is only one shower in the entire house which might make it difficult for a larger group

Only one bath room for an accommodation that can accommodate max 9 guests. There are four bedrooms, but only two bedrooms with heater. Only one garbage bin in the whole accommodation.

Location was easy to get to.

There were 6 of us. 2 couples and 2 singles. But only 3 beds were made. Living room didn’t have enough seating for everyone.

The location and rooftop terrace were nice. It was also very handy to have a washing machine (but there is no dryer).

Unit was missing the promised hair dryer and also the unit was not clean, and we found long dark hair in several corners and even in the bathroom drawers. When I brought this to the attention of the owners via text message, they apologized, offered to have someone reclean it (we were leaving very early the next morning so it wasn’t worth the interruption during our limited time), and without prompting offered a 30% refund, which I agreed to. Then they ghosted me and would not respond to any questions regarding the refund. They did answer a subsequent question recommending a taxi company, but ignored anything about the compensation. I followed up via text and email and they’ve had 3+ days to respond. I didn’t want the window of leaving this review to close, so they’ve really left me no choice. It was a disappointing end to the stay, and I cannot recommend them due to their habit of overpromising and under delivering. The shower also leaks, leaving a substantial puddle to clean up. Also worth noting: property is not for someone with limited mobility, as there are tons of stairs and the street itself is very narrow.

Fabulous location, at a very good price. Loved the quirky ( to Americans) lay out of the old building - with bedrooms on the first and 3rd floors and living space on the 2nd floor. Fabulous views from terrace on 3rd floor! Loved the character of the place. Was very handy to have a clothes washer, as well as kitchen.

Would have been very handy to have an iron, to help finish drying clothes in humid Bergen. It was oddly hot the days we stayed so fans would have been nice, but I don't think Bergen gets hot that often. Note that there is not a microwave, Booking listing says it does, so Booking should correct that These were all very minor things. Would book this again in a heartbeat.
