The Rambler's Rest Cottage, Parkgate, Wirral

Location brilliant for scenery and access to Wirral Way and coastal path. Decent places to eat - unfortunately chose a time when two of the establishments we wanted to eat in were closed for a break/refurbishment, which seemed a bit odd in June.

Front bedroom noisy because facing onto the road. Did have earplugs but also had to close window when I normally sleep with window open. Shower quite tricky to master to stabilise temperature. Also overhead rainforest shower drips cold water onto you when using normal shower head. But these were minor points to a thoroughly enjoyable few days and I would definitely rebook if visiting The Wirral again.

Had a lovely stay in this gorgeous little cottage, had everything you need and was spotlessly clean, even the dishes, ive stayed in many cottages that say 5* and they are never as clean as my house but this was spotless we loved it 🥰

We highly recommend this accommodation. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for all our needs during the stay. There was also some lovely extra touches such as access to Netflix, toiletries and refreshments. The location is perfect & we enjoyed trips to the beach and walks around Parkgate. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!
