Hampi Village Resort & Tutti Cafe

This is a great place to discover the local lake and there's some nice boulder walks by here too. The staff and food in the restaurant were great

They need more hooks to hang things in the bathroom- this would be really useful. Possibly also a bit more information about the monkeys/dogs on check in

The property is away from the tourist sites, in a rural area. It’s about 20-25 kms from the sites. The setting is very village oriented with thatch roof cottages. All cottages are very comfortable with good facilities, it is a new property so the fittings are modern, clean & well maintained. The staff is excellent, a special mention for Pyaare Kashyap & Akash. They ensured that our stay was really very comfortable, we got excellent & prompt service, despite the only means of communication being via What’s App messages/calls, as well as good inputs on places to visit, etc. We also had the opportunity to interact with the owner, Marcie (I hope I got the name & spelling right). She helped us get a very good guide & also gave us a lot of inputs on places to visit & how best to schedule the 2 days available to us for sightseeing. The food at the property is excellent & we could not believe what a superb value for money the food was, given the quantity, quality & the authenticity of the cuisine. The floor seating in the restaurant is very comfortable & we really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. There is ample parking & our driver was well taken care of. Strongly recommend this place for any one visiting the areas around Hampi.

Nothing not to like, however just a few suggestions to improve the place. While a kettle is available on request, tea/coffee & sugar sachets would make it easier for tea/coffee lovers to make it as & when they desire. While the restaurant does supply tea/coffee, on request, it can get a bit cold by the time it reaches the room. Just being a bit facetious. Another essential for the bathroom is a floor wiper, as the layout is such that the WC is beyond the shower area, from the door. There being no possibility of fitting a shower curtain, the wiper would really help keep the bathroom dry & clean. These are minor, easy to fix, suggestions to enhance the stay.

Everything was extremely good. Food was excellent. Liked the room and natural environment.

There were cockroaches in the room. Its a very new set up. Needs to do pest control.

I do highly recommend visitors of Hampi to stay at this property. The accommodation is highly maintained and food is really amazing. Staff is really welcoming and cooperative. Akash was really cooperative towards us which made our stay delightful. Parking area is available. Resort staff are helping in arranging for local auto rickshaw for local transport. Property is located in very convenient place in Hampi. You can see various places in Hampi and enjoy wonderful Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner when you return back to accommodation. I would suggest to avoid Reservoir Road as this road is not suitable for Cars, please use Huligi-Gangavathi Road instead.
