Contemporary 2 bedroom eco home with a twist

lovely and spacious and the lounge area was lovely. Nice modern kitchen and dining areas.

The oven door didn't want to close properly, this was fine for us as we just wanted to warm some croissants for breakfast but if we had wanted to cook anything more we might have struggled.

The house was so up to date with gadgets, so much so I had to keep calling to ask how to use things 😅 the house was extremely clean and well maintained. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. I absolutely loved the mezzanine level with the tv and sofas, it felt so cosy, I could’ve easily lived in this house, I definitely fell asleep on one of the sofas. I would 100% stay again.

This house was everything it appeared to be (photos and description) and more. We were visiting family for Christmas but wanted our own space. This was a beautiful house with lots of thoughtful touches (including Christmas tree and lights which was totally unexpected). Everything is high spec, modern and well thought out. Very well equipped and nothing has been overlooked and there was coffee, tea and basic condiments there and toiletries etc. Bathrooms were beautiful (I am particularly fussy about this on holiday!) and shower was powerful and water hot. Heating worked well too (important if staying in the north in winter!) but would love to stay in the summer and use the little garden which leads out from bi-fold doors from the living area and which is very private with garden furniture. Loved the lounge area upstairs too. Communication from the hosts was excellent and always very prompt and obviously keen to check everything was in order and we were happy. We were - 10/10 and highly recommend.

One of the reviews mentioned the ‘hidden’ cutlery drawer which was now labelled but didn’t realise there was one in the other drawer too so perhaps needs a label. But that is minor - nothing to dislike about this property!

Beautiful decor (as good as the images, if not better). Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We used it as a base for visiting family in the local area and it was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable and homely, in a quiet neighbourhood with off-street parking for one car. Would definitely return.
