Nouveau, cosy et original au coeur de Guéliz

The location is great. Very safe. It's in a new part of the city, so you experience real, modern Marrakesh life rather than amusement park Morocco. Great bed, quiet, so a great night's sleep. Carrefour is one block away - with super expensive alcohol.

The property was not as described. We were promised - and paid for - WiFi in all parts of the apartment, but there was none whatsoever. The television that is advertised is present, but totally useless as it has no connection to any signal. Check in was a stressful disaster, We were left standing outside the building for hours with no information on where the apartment was or how to get into it. We got the point where Booking.com was trying to find us alternative accommodation as not even they could help. "Iman" calls at a time that suits her with verbal-only information on how to find and access the apartment. She can't be reached at the number that is published on the Booking.com page for the apartment. Once we got in there was no toilet paper or toiletries in the bathroom, no bin bags or cleaning fluid in the kitchen, let alone a few sachets of salt, sugar or coffee, or even a bottle of water in the fridge. We were not able to contact Iman - our "host" - during our stay. She did not take or respond to any of our many phone calls, nor did she respond to any of the many many messages we sent to her.
