PTPTPTThe location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around
Since we arrived late, there were no shops open, but there was still the local Association's bar, that was open until 22h30; it would have been nice to have a bit of coffee, tea and biscuits waiting for us; however we had fresh fruit and plenty of water and were still able to buy bread through the good and most kind offices of the house owner, who is part of a local family
PTthere was no breakfast. however, there is a full kitchen to prepare it
