Enchanted 17 Jewel Beachfront Luquillo -Pool

The location was great. View from the deck and access to the beach was outstanding

The unit was filthy and in a state of disrepair. The door to the balcony was broken, and we were unable to open and shut and lock properly. One half of the privacy curtain covering the glass door to the balcony has been ripped down, offering zero privacy. People below of the basketball and tennis courts could see right into our unit. The shower was filthy, caked with soap scum and dirt. The coffee maker had not been cleaned in months, and was full of old coffee grounds. It was clear the unit had not been cleaned for months. When I spoke with the manager about our concerns, she blew it off, claiming, no one had told her these things. Really? You are the property manager. How about checking the property before someone has been booked to stay? Even though I contacted Booking.com and the property manager, none of our concerns were addressed during our stay. Its the worse experience we have ever had booking a property through this site. Add to this, when we arrived, a maintenance person was inside of our unit! He was as surprised to see us as we were to see him! Even the property manager had no idea someone was scheduled to be inside the unit when we were taken possession. It made us feel very insecure, coming into a foreign country for the first time, and someone is inside of our unit. All of this was completely unacceptable, and should have never happened.

Huge comfy bed, good shower, smart TV, kitchen with everything you need, as well as a washer and dryer. Good location with a balcony overlooking Costa Azul beach, walking distance from Luquillo beach. The swimming pool and tennis court (rackets and balls provided in the room) were a nice addition. Reception staff were really nice too!

Like many apartments, you have to leave the dishes clean, strip the bed, empty the trash, etc. before you leave which wasn’t a big deal for us, as we’re tidy people, but we were only staying one night and it took some time away from enjoying our holiday.

Great water view studio room with plenty of room for a couple. Great location with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Great value for oceanfront condo.

Doors were a little difficult to use but we managed. Building was installing new elevators and we had to go around the building to access the pool and beach which was a little inconvenient but that wasn’t the owners fault.

Héctor is Awesome!! He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was quick to research and response to our questions. The property is Beautifully decorated with an ocean theme. I loved the blue iridescent wall with the sand colored head board. And the view is out of an out of this world… Turquoise ocean waters, waves softly crashing in and palm trees line up the beach. The water came to my knees most of the time. And I’m 5’1” 😊 We would definitely stay here again!! 🥰

We loved walking next door to Panderri for breakfast each day. The pool was clean, the view was beautiful, and the beach was to die for. We will definitely be back at Playa Azul!

Nothing!!! Aside from the elevators being a bit scary, you can’t avoid that in older buildings.

Loved the location! You can hear the waves from the balcony. Decor was cute, kitchen was a little smaller than expected but did the job. There is a washer and dryer on site but will need to bring your own detergent. AC worked great and had a few outdoor items/utilities etc.

The locks on both sides of the door feels dangerous. There's no spare key on property, and when sharing my concerns after myself got locked out and daughter got locked in, I was informed to keep keys in the lock box outside of the door but still doesn't helped the fact my teenage daughter was locked in and if there was a fire there would be no way for her to escape on her own.
