Paddy the proprietor was an excsptionally interesting character who was welcoming , humourous & unique!

Shared Bathroom. The facilities were simple,basic & somewhat dated however the experience was pretty epic & memorable for all the right reasons:)

La struttura è una vecchia rimessa di cavalli di 200 anni fa…presa poi da Puddy e fatta diventare prima pub e poi sopra ha diviso delle camere e le affitta… Sicuramente come servizi ed altro si può trovare decisamente meglio, visto che il bagno è in comune su tutto il piano e ci sono 3 camere per circa 8/10 persone…la colazione non è servita ed i comfort non sono il massimo… Ma chi sceglie il kingfisher sceglie altro… Sceglie Puddy… Una persona di circa 80 anni che gestisce tutto da solo sia pub che albergo e che ti racconta tutta la sua vita ed aneddoti sull’Irlanda…ottimo conoscitore di wiskye e bravissimo narratore di storie…quel posto manca di tutta la nostra modernità ma straripa di amore, passione e dedizione alla vita e la famiglia SPETTACOLO

Although the accommodation wouldn't be to everyone's taste I would challenge anyone not to come away from staying with Paddy feeling that bit better about the world. The warmth of the welcome and being in Paddys company for even the shortest time made me want to stay longer. We were attending a concert in Limerick so only had a couple of drinks when we returned but It was the most special experience I have had in quite some time. The clientele were fantastic and the atmosphere was exceptional. A hidden gem and an example of Irish hospitality that we should be very proud off. Slainte Paddy!!

Premises a bit dated but actually added to the charm of the complete experience. Avoid 5 star pizza next door as not very good. I would take away 4 of the stars to be honest.

L’accueil , la générosité et le partage avec Paddy(Un personnage unique!) et les habitués du pub. Les bonnes discussions, conseils de promenade. Le charme un peu désuet du gite qui ressemble à un musée des années 30-50. Le confort des lits. Le calme et la beauté de la région

Rien:tout correspond au descriptif et fotos. Allergiques aux acariens et maniaques de propreté n’auront pas de plaisir à découvrir ce lieux hors du commun.

Just like staying at a friend’s house! Paddy made us feel right at home. It was clean and cosy in our room.

If you want an authentic Irish experience then Paddy’s is the place to go! You’ll be greeted by a friendly dog, sleep in the softest bed ever and no one pours a better pint. We will be sure to stay at the Kingfisher next time we’re here!

We should have stayed longer!

Paddy was a fantastic host. Very welcoming. The bar was very quaint and cosy. Lots of great stories hanging on those walls!
