"Great stay would be happy to return."

Excellent location, comfortable accommodation. Good layout for 2 couples. Allocated parking outside the property.

Would benefit from some bigger mugs in the kitchen!

"A really nice stay in a lovely cottage"

9.0

The location was great, and there was room to park right outside the cottage, which was a good advantage. It was only a short walk down into Bakewell itself. The cottage itself was lovely, well equipped and comfortable. We slept well, the beds were comfy and the little touches of toiletries was a lovely idea. All in all a lovely stay.

The cottage was quite warm when we arrived, but was fine once we adjusted the temperature.

"Conveniently located, clean, comfortable and cosy."

There was nothing to not like! Very cosy, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Having parking in Bakewell is a huge bonus. Contacting the manager was seamless… I will definitely want to stay here again.

"Wonderful and hope to be back"

8.0

Location was great for us and being able to park without any issue. Clean, tidy and everything you need Quaint and traditional with everything you need

Shower in kitchen bedroom has low pressure but was tricky to get to a useable temp. This really is being picky though and in no way changed the quality of our weekend. Lovely cottage for the 2 of us and our wee dog. We couldn’t connect the tv to the internet which probably means we didn’t read a manual but it didn’t matter as we watched the laptop. Again don’t bother us but may bother future guests?

"Very Good"

7.0

We have stayed over Christmas 2 years in a row now. This year sadly the heating wasn’t very warm at all . Most evenings we had fleeces and scarves on and the dog had to stay upstairs with us because it was really cold. There was a thermostat but it didn’t get very warm . Both showers were a bit temperamental, hot and then very cold so the kids had to have hot baths most nights before bed to keep them warm.

"We loved the quirkiness of this property, We would love to know more of it's history."

We made the mistake of waiting until we were in the road before checking the e mail for the lock box number< there was no mobile reception so we had to drive around until we got some. should have got it before leaving home.

"A beautiful cottage, which provided a comfortable base to explore the stunning Peak District."

10.0

The location was perfect; just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bakewell. We loved the way we each had our own staircases to our bedrooms with en suites. The cottage had everything we needed and was a lovely home from home. Parking for 2 cars was right outside. Everything worked well and we were sad to leave.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
