"Convenient and practical stay in Trieste with a beautiful view."

Maison D'Or was a very pleasant stay in Trieste. The location is central and it is easy to walk everywhere in the city from the apartment. The area also felt safe and quiet. There is no parking on the premises, but we found a parking lot nearby (20 euro per day, not cheap but that's how it is in larger cities). The apartment is clean, lovely, and well-organized: the best feature is a the large balcony with a great view of the hills behind the city, then there is a larger bedroom and a very small one with an single bed. The bathroom was clean and functional, and we had no issues while we stayed there. The best past about Maison D'Or is the host, Daniela. She was quite and attentive with communication, and she accommodated any small problems we encountered. I would recommend this place for a vacation in Trieste!

Sadly, the beds were not very comfortable, which is very important for us (my husband suffers from a bad back and is very sensitive to mattresses). But overall the experience was very positive!

Balcony was lovely. Kitchen was well equipped. Host was very helpful.

Air con in the bedroom would have been nice - we stayed during a period of exceptionally hot weather

"Retro style air bnb apartment"

Quite a bit of room. Nice balcony and lounge area Funky retro decor

No parking, no breakfast. No eateries close by Low hard bed. Noisy neighbours

"A charming apartment"

It is a charming apartment, with really nice design and furniture, keeping the vintage vibes and personality of the building. The common areas are generous, including a large terrace. Nice books if you have time The position is very good, close to restaurants, supermarket and mercato, bus stations and you will reach the main shopping street within minutes. The internet connection is good.

The walls are very thin and you might get to listen the movie, the football game or a baby crying at midnight. Be aware that the second room is small, like for kids :)

Great apartment, clean, comfortable with great location. We had a very polite host and there is a parking garage 100m away. I would definitely come back again
