GBVery homely and quirky , stunning views and very peaceful . Lovely hosts which made our stay perfect , a very warm welcome on arrival . Very helpful and the shepherds hut had everything we needed inc fresh eggs , tea , coffee and sugar and even biscuits đ Good location to visit the surrounding areas.
Nothing at all , we absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning before the winter.

GBThe location is excellent, just outside of Bude town so peaceful but ideal to explore the beaches. The views over the valley were superb. Overall the Shepardâs hut is well catered and had everything you need. Made for a very peaceful stay and would recommend
The bridle path up had some pot holes and wasnât the best road so had to take it very slow to avoid damage to the car, not a major issue but one to be aware of. Also could do with a little less ornaments inside. As itâs a small space there wasnât much room to put stuff down, for example some handy little shelves were in the kitchen but couldnât use them because they were full of ornaments/pots. Overall minor criticisms as the place was very good and really worth a visit

GBWith a car or bike the location is superb. So peaceful and just whatâs needed to get away from the rat race. Everything you could possibly need is supplied and more. Highly recommend for an away from it all stay. The hosts are fabulous.

GBThis was our second visit to The Lilly Pad we loved it the first time and absolutely loved it this visit. Everything has been well thought out. The setting is wonderful overlooking beautiful countryside. Very private decking with seating area. Inside the shepherds hut everything you need is within.

I found the single unsurfaced access track a little daunting as my car is not 4 wheel drive.
