The Roost on Rock Road

Joanne and Andrew and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were beautiful and the complimentary breakfast items was a lovely extra. Food in the pub was exceptional, chef, bar staff and wait staff were friendly and helpful. Area was quiet and bed comfy so a good night's sleep was had by both of us. Really felt like our local pub, we would 100% stay again just for that reason.

Great location to Cardiff airport

Lovely, comfortable room in quiet location. Excellent complimentary breakfast choice with cereal,fruit and quality juice, fresh milk and yogurt in a quiet little fridge in room. Great little country pub with restaurant, although didn't eat this time as attending a private party nearby. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend.

the breakfast was simple but adequate. the room was well furnished and had everything that you need

The damp patch on the wall in the staircase up to the guest rooms was a shame, and didnt give the best of first impressions. the bedside tables have very nice reading lights - but you cannot control them without having the big main lights turned on in the room - which defeats the object really.
