Stylish 2-Bedroom With Large Terrace, Near Forest Park & Beach, Child-Friendly Location

Everything was good, clean and near to the beach and city center.

“The designated parking spot was taken, so we parked elsewhere, which upset the owner of that space — even though it remained empty throughout our entire stay. I would have appreciated having more coffee capsules, and usually it’s standard to provide both a large and a small towel per person.

Die Wohnung ist super strandnah gelegen (600 m Fußweg). Die Wohnung ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung war neu und modern. Riga ist von Jurmala gut mit dem Auto oder der Bahn zu erreichen.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist nicht sehr gut. Für eine kleine 3 Zimmerwohnung (ca. 60 m2) haben wir für 6 Nächte 1100 € bezahlt. Auch ist die Parkplatzsituation recht chaotisch. Die Wohnung hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Der Vermieter nennt mehrere Nummern von Parkplätzen die evtl. temporär frei sind. Wir haben dann nach 3 Tagen einen Verwarnungszettel mit Strafandrohung (30€ pro Tag) vom eigentlichen Besitzers des Parkplatzes erhalten und haben dann letztendlich außerhalb der Anlage geparkt.

The location was good. It was about a 10-minute walk to the main pedestrian street in Jurmala, going through a really interesting park; 10 minutes to the coast, and 4 minutes to the train station to get to Riga. The rooms were good-sized and while the patio view was into a parking lot, there was so much greenery and trees that you hardly noticed that.

The instructions to get in were unclear. You had to enter a code into a "door gate" which was about 10 feet from the parking gate and not at all obvious because you drive up to the parking gate. Then when you did find the parking gate there was another code to open the gate to the parking lat. Then you had to find the "left side" stairway, among several stairways in the complex and then enter another code. And every time you exited the car park you had to enter the code again, while other places we stayed out provided a clicker. A few more pictures showing the gate and where you entered the codes would help. But overall, a good place to stay and we'd stay there again.

There were children's toys on site, the child really liked it.
