The apartment was really sweet and equipped with everything you needed - the coffee machine was a bonus as was having a tv with Netflix as it was raining in the evenings when we stayed. The intimate terraces were lovely spaces in which to relax.

The property is a bit of a walk into town, but felt safe enough and was enjoyable to see ‘real’ Mexico. Directions on booking.com are inaccurate it’s 125, 95 Calle. We got lost, but the owner was helpful and communication was gratefully received.

The apartment has everything that you need - WiFi, bed, aircon, bathroom, kitchen, towels, soap, netflix, fridge, iron, couch, they even do your laundry for you for a small charge. Apartment is clean and safe. The owners are also very nice and friendly.

The location on Booking.com is not correct, the apartment is actually farther out from the town centre. It's feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, there aren't even any taxis around (also no uber on the island) so you are stuck having to walk 30 - 40 minutes in extreme heat everytime u want to go out.

What we didn’t like at first, we ended liking the most at the end: the location. Beware that the property isn’t marked properly in Google maps - the flat is located far away from the centre in a fully local neighbourhood. You do have to rent a scooter to make your stay comfortable. And you do need to get used to a bit rougher surroundings. But once you do, you realise how friendly the locals are and how refreshing it is to live with the locals, eat where they eat, etc. We loved the authentic experience we had there once we opened ourselves to it. We also loved the cats and dogs living at the property.

The owner (man) isn’t particularly friendly. The internet was very slow. And again, the location isn’t marked properly - it’s about 3.5km to the centre/beachfront.

quite a long way from sea front. We hired bikes ( push bikes) from the host but they were very poorly maintained. pool was tiny and only half full, luckily we prefer the sea.

We had a lovely month-long stay here on Cozumel. The hosts, who live on the property, are kind, and can do laundry for you (paid.) The garden seating area is gorgeous, and you’ll get regular visits from the cats and dog that live on property. We loved living in this section of the island, which is far from attractions (rent bikes or a moto!) and has zero tourists- exactly what we were looking for. There is an additional apartment on this floor that has other travelers in it- we made great friends with one set, and will continue our travels with them next month! There’s a tienda across the street for snacks and drinks, and there are enough cooking supplies in the kitchen to make your time here something resembling living in Mexico, as opposed to vacationing in it. Recommend!

Nice appartement with kitchen and bathroom and place to sit both inside as outside, small swimming pool for hot days, clean, kind women hosting the place. For us it was just what we were looking for!

Location bit far from everything, often music on at the neighbors especially on Friday night but that’s not something the owners could help.
