Lovely 1-Bedroom De Waterkant Apt with parking and WiFi

Apartment needs some attention.

We had a lovely stay. Location was excellent.

Die Lage ist top. Nähe (fußläufig) zu vielen weiteren Vierteln, Bars/Restaurants, Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Zugang zum App. durch Face ID check in der Lobby. Balkon mit Blick auf Tafelberg, Signal Hill & Lions Head. Kommunikation mit Jenny sehr gut (hilfsbereit / schnell) auch mit dem Management nett. Saubere Handtücher / Bettwäsche incl. Wechsel.

In der Küche, die voll ausgestattet ist, ist die Sauberkeit der Geräte mäßig incl. Waschmaschine. Grundreinigung incl. Boden + Bad wäre ratsam. Möbel recht abgewohnt und fleckig,

We loved the Apt. It was close to everything. There is a large food shopping store across the street the street. And some good restaurants on the property. Ubers are plentiful and inexpensive. It’s about a 2 dollar Uber ride to the waterfront.

My only issues were the fan in the bedroom wasn’t working.

Location was superb. Lovely spacious apartment. More space than most in the area. The kitchen had all you needed.

The shower needed to be unblocked which I told the managing agent. He was easy to get hold of and always available. The kitchen could do with a bit of TLC, a bit tired. We only needed it for tea and coffee and of course the fridge.

Jerome was always available for whatever we needed in terms of accessing the apartment and building. He and his team were very responsive.; Jenny was a great host. Quick and detailed responses every time. The building and apartment are well maintained and clean. The location is great in De Waterkant area. 20 minute walk to V & A Waterfront. 15 minute walk to Bo Kaap area and the original area and The Company's garden. Great Portuguese bar/restaurant right below (Vasco da Gama Taverna) as well as a nice sushi place. A Turkish restauarant in on the main floor of the building which is opening Apr 25). Groceries right across the street in a big outdoor-style mall with great restaurants. And quaint area with a variety of restaurants as well. Delicious Italian restaurant outside the front door to the left (Il Leone Mastrantonio)

Nothing really. STREETS AHEAD OF XENIA APARTMENTS in the same building

Upmarket apartment. Nice technological interventions to improve the access and safety of the visitor ( ticketless access was still in pilot) some technical malfunctions experienced

Cutlery needs an upgrade services do not include replacement of consumables- eg toilet rolls? Agents can be more proactive
