Villa Augustas - Fabulous villa in Tenerife!

There’s nothing to not liked this villa

The nicest villa we have ever stayed in. Very spacious, light, modern, extremely clean with massive comfy beds and lovely bedding, plenty of fresh towels. Robes & slippers were an added bonus. Loads of storage, wardrobe space and hangers. Villa had all appliances and kitchen equipment anyone could possibly need. Multiple fridges and cooking options. Hairdryers and toiletries in every bathroom and televisions on all the bedrooms and the two lounges. Lovely quality outdoor tables and seating space/loungers. There was an outdoor kitchen and pizza oven and barbecue. The pool had a heated cover which was great. A lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into this property, it’s amazing with sea views and in a very quiet area.

We were told the hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived and it was unlikely to be fixed, this remained out of action for the duration of our stay. We had a problem with cold showers in the downstairs bathrooms on our first night. After contacting the host, they came out to resolve this within half an hour- an excellent service! The property is on a steep hill, the whole area is very steep and the nearest couple of restaurants/bars are at least a 10-15minute walk away. We did not hire a car and I would say the villa is not suitable for those with walking difficulties or the frail/elderly. My Dad struggled to walk around the area although we were able to get taxis easy enough.

The host was more than accommodating, catering for special requests at no extra charge. The position was perfect for us. Just far away enough to be quiet while being close enough to walk to most places of interest and if we didn't want to walk back up the hill then a taxi was only about £3.30 to get back. The views are beautiful. The back balcony spans the length of the property and looks over the lights of the main stretch while the front courtyard has views over the coast a little higher up. The property is also surprisingly private compared to the vast majority in this area. We thought the property was a little expensive however it has been finished to such a high standard that it's actualy very good value.

Couldn't get the jacuzi working although the jacuzi bath was great and I'm sure the host would have had it fixed if we had mentioned it.
