Ocean Walk Resort - Dazzling Ocean Front View

This is a great family trip, primarily for preteens I would say. Several pools, a tubing "river", etc. Check in was super good. Got a parking pass from the lot attendant, parked on premises, went to reception and picked up keys. No lines at all even though this place is choked with people like a zoo, literally. The pools, which are the highlight, were super nice. So was the beach. Although crowded there was always enough room for everybody. There is even a pool bar which we didn't try until the last day because, sadly, we didin't know they served food - which turned out to be terrific. Next time we'd probably grab a quick bite every day there. Lots of nice simple restaurants are nearby - fantastic diner across the street. Also the famous boardwalk, although a shadow of it former self, still has the arcade games that the little kids go nuts over. And Daytona Beach, although its lost almost all the sand and the roadway, was still pretty and clean. If you weren't here years ago you'd never know its 75% gone. People that worked there all seemed pleasant and dealing well with the absolute chaos. We'll be back.

Not really anything. The room was very dated, but thats perfect in a way for where you are. Who wants luxury at the beach with 10,000 screaming kids?

We've stayed at this resort a dozen times and it's always a great time. Everything is close by and lots to do. This unit was nice and had a great view.

Unit was clean but in need of an update. Walls had black drag marks down them in entry, carpet on the older side. No paper towels and never got wifi to work, in fact tv and everything was unplugged upon arrival. Beds were extra extra firm.
