logement moderne, propre, bien équipé, au calme. Vue incroyable sur la piscine et l'océan. L'hôte est très accueillante et serviable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce logement. indispensable d'avoir sa propre voiture pour y accéder.

beaucoup de branches et feuilles se déposent dans la piscine avec le vent, ce point pourrait peut être être amélioré.

Splendid appartment in Punta do Sol. Wonderful view. Well equiped with all we needed. Pool in front of our windows. Very friendly reception by the host. Parking on site. Modern furniture. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Madeira is an island with steep mountains and narrow roads. We knew that in advance. Reaching the place requires to drive one of these steep mountain roads. If you are a good driver and wisely rented a small car, there is no problem. Otherwise it can get a bit tricky.

Hund, der sein mehrfach tägliches Geschäft im Garten macht, is nicht so toll - auch wenn man Hunde selber mag! Muss nicht sein.

view/hanging/working from the yard(when I had total privacy) the bed is comfy & the space was very clean. washing machine.

bare minimum essentials like the coffee provided and no body wash shampoo etc in bathroom. it’s not an easy street to trek up and down on. have a car or else good luck doing grocery run etc. & know how to drive the narrow streets. I didn’t realize that hosts only spoke/texted in French, they’re not Portuguese and didn’t even attempt to speak the language either (forget about English) after living on the island for 20 plus years, you don’t speak the language? I find that bizarre…but hey too each their own?

Location and privacy - a true gem! Very helpful host. Nice scenery. Pool is not heated. Pool is perfect to cool down in the hot weather. The sun is extremely hot. Especially for April. We travelled and ticked every box in Madeira. I suggest staying here as a base. Nice restaurants near by. Lovely beach and scenery close by also. Having a private parking space helped. Have in mind that the location will need a strong car engine to get up and down.

Everything was great. If I must point out 1 thing. If staying for a long time and looking to cook. The cooking instruments did not work to the magnetic connect facility. The right cooking instruments need to be corrected. More coffee capsules would be helpful for the coffee drinkers. However there are cafes near which are very cheap. Especially compared to london prices.
