Casa de Campo da Quinta da Pegada

Quinta (Óbidos) - Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas gostaríamos de ter ficado mais, pq o lugar é maravilhoso. É fora do centro histórico de Óbidos, então é mais sossegado, que é justamente o que procurávamos para a estadia com nosso bebê. O Francisco é muito educado e receptivo, o café da manhã muito bem servido e algumas comidas como frutas e biscoitos ficam disponíveis ao longo do dia para consumo dos hóspedes. O lugar é muito bonito e bem preservado, e como bônus ainda tem uma área com bichinhos como cabras, porcos e galinhas com os quais os hóspedes podem interagir através de um cercadinho. Estadia maravilhosa e muito recomendada.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Easy check in and check out. Good beds, good shower, good breakfast. 24 hour coffee/tea and biscuits in dining room. Outdoor spaces to sit and read quietly or converse. We didn't drive, but it looks like there is easy parking on the property. The location is away from the tourist hordes -- it is about a 10-11 minute walk to the walled, historic center of Óbidos. There is some uphill walking to get there, but most people will not find it too challenging and, of course, the downhill walking is nice on the way back after a day of sightseeing. The owner was very nice and very helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. We also enjoyed a very nice dinner at the restaurant across the way.
