Property was well-kitted out and very comfortable. Mari, our host was friendly and helpful.

Liked that the house was so comfy and spacious. Very close to shops and beach.

The step around the patio by the braai area is a bit high.

NO CLEANING PRODUCTS IN THE WHOLE HOUSE. FOR A 3 DAY STAY WITH NO ROOM SERVICE, NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

I liked the fact that it was very central, beautiful home with a lot of potential. Loved the ping pong table and the fact that they stocked with sugar, coffee and tea. Lady who we picked key up from was very helpful drove through specially to come help with alarm.

The price you pay per night I feel they could have done a bit of maintenance on the home. We only got there at 7:30pm the evening Friday and then immediately had to attend plans, so there was no time to still take photos and make list of ALL the damage in the house. If the list had to be made it would be very long and now we stand a risk that owner can say it was us. The garage door doesn't open properly the other one has a whole in it that was duct taped, the blinds are damaged, tiles are chipped and lifting, towel rails are bent, all the lights in house don't work, paint outside is coming off and the list goes on. No one wants to after a 2 hour drive come to the accommodation and make a list that long of all the damages just to ensure the deposit is safe, before you can actually enjoy your stay. Maybe in future leave a list of current damage owner is already aware of so you have some sense of security that the responsibility won't fall on you.

The space of the house and the beds were very comfortable and it was a bonus that there was such a big fridge.

1. It was more than 30 degrees, there is no sea breeze and there is not one single fan, let alone aircon in the house. the heat was unbearable, sleeping at night was absolutely impossible. 2. The table and chairs outside - there is one chair short and not even one cushion in sight, hard wooden chairs , 3. Toilet seat in 2nd bathroom is broken, 4. Both toilet brushes are cheap and nasty and broken 5. No placemats 6. No bottle opener 7. No pegs for washing line 8. Almost no crockery in kitchen, the absolute minimum!!! literally had to eat chips or biltong out of glasses or mugs. 9. not important but each and every mug are different 10. The pan's handle is wobbly and burns you 11. The blinds are all bent or broken. 12. The house needs serious maintenance i.e. paint 13. Garden is non existent 14. No soap in the 2nd bathroom 15. Freezer requires defrosting 16. Upstairs room should not be advertised, imagine if the heat is unbearable downstairs, what it's like upstairs. Sad that a place with so much potential, is just being neglected. Lastly, if you are from JHB or normally live in a neighbourhood where you have burglar bars, there is not a single burgalar bar. The fence around the house is pretty pointless, it will take someone around 20 secs to get over it. This while the house is not on an estate and while the temp is already unbearable, let alone with closed windows. The house is on a very busy street, if you leave the blind open, people from the street look right onto your bed.

The oven needs updating and there should be some medicine cabinet or something to put your toiletries on or in for the bathrooms.
