GBThe property is nicely tucked away down a track, with a very pleasant view. The lake (Llyn Padarn) is barely 5 mins walk away, as is the "Caffi Caban" cafe. Several small towns within reach for supermarkets or dining. The interior was clean, stylish and practical. Felt like we had plenty of room (we were three adults and one toddler). Our stay coincided with some unusually hot weather, but the property didn't heat up too badly, suggesting that it's probably quite well insulated. I imagine it would be cosy in the winter.
Only thing missing is a dishwasher!
GBMelin Y Wig was clean and really well presented, and really beautifully situated - sheltered from the wind but with a lovely outlook across a really pretty small holding, with rocks and little hills all around. Also very close to the lake for a dip, and the cafe for excellent coffee and breakfast!
Alas, no dishwasher, but still totally worth staying here!!
IEGBGBThe property was beautifully decorated with a well equiped kitchen. There are nice walks nearby, especially the lake Llyn Padarn. Caernarfon and Bangor are about 20 mins drive away.
ZAThe house is beautifully decorated and in a beautiful setting. The flowers and goodies was a real nice touch. Elaine and David are great hosts! Being able to sit outside and enjoy the views was a bonus and whilst we had lovely weather we did use the log burner on some colder evenings and did not even feel the need to switch on the TV. This spacious, clean cottage in the middle of a tranquil setting is ideal if you want to get away from it all. If we did not have so many activities planned, we would most probably stay on the "farm" the whole day. We would love to go back and do just that. Thank you so so much for having us!
Not a thing, the house and our hosts were lovely. Anyone who thinks this cute cottage needs anything more will be nitpicking. We are spoilt at home with a coffee machine and that's the only thing I can think of - but that's me nitpicking.
