Cornwall - Unique two storey barn

sofa not too comfy and at angle to tv hard to find, had to ring them, not signposted from main road village is small, busy road to walk down with pavement intermittent

Air fryer worked well as an oven substitute and all the other kitchen appliances were in good order. A separate building gives privacy. It is a very functional stay giving good value for money but we wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a cosy fireside retreat.

We would suggest adding a lamps in the lounge/kitchen area as the ceiling lights are very good and bright but not very ambient. There is quite extensive building work around the new estate at the back of the barn which wasn't noisy but was unexpected .

The owners met with us in person and welcomed us to the property.

My fiance and I visited here to celebrate our 11 year anniversary, and we loved it! Such a gorgeous place - located in a quiet area. It had everything we needed, and more; including cans in the fridge, dvds, books, tea and coffee. Comfy bed, good tv, great kitchen appliances, lovely outdoor seating area (although we didn't have the weather for it!). Great location - from here we visited Mevagissey, St Austell, Padstow, Newquay, Polperro, Looe, Perranporth and Bodmin. So it really was a fab place to stay to be able to visit so many places. The owners were lovely, and sent clear directions on how to get there, and clear instructions on getting the key. A truly wonderful place. Would definitely return, and would highly recommend if you wish to stay somewhere quiet, that's central to many attractions in Cornwall.
