Clean and comfortable apartment close to town centre.

Good location for Abbey side of Whitby. Parking an asset. Good for a couple of nights, especially if out & eating out most of time.

Not especially private - annexe to a residential house. The adjoining wall means noise transmits between the properties.

Third time of staying, brilliant stay.

It was clean, the location is quite good, I suppose. You can walk along to the Abbey rather than up although it is a little bit up still. Having parking is good .

It just felt like they would’ve been a lot happier if I’ve paid the money and not come. The emphasis was very much on the convenience of the property owner. They left out some weird protein bars or something but with washing up equipment right next to it as if to say welcome make sure you clean everything. I’m not a bad guest and I’ve just found that rude. The patio doors, face the sun in the afternoon so it’s like a greenhouse and became unbearably hot. You have to open the patio doors with your bed and all your belongings in full view of the outside world to get any air into the place. There is just one small window at the back you can open they have signs up saying you must not open the back door. The bed is wedged in the corner luckily I was staying on my own, it would’ve been horrible for two people. The bathroom has been designed without the person using it in mind . They’re literally isn’t anywhere to put a toilet roll when you sit on the toilet. It has to go on the floor. And when you’re sitting on the toilet, your leg is touching the wall. I think the owner should spend one night in the residence themself and use only the facilities there to see how uncomfortable and unwelcoming is.

No heating in shower room or kitchenette. No curtain or door to kitchenette.

A very pleasant stay indeed. It was the perfect base for exploring Whitby and its surrounding area. The apartment was just what I needed, it was lovely, comfortable, warm and inviting. The parking space was a boon. The welcome pack was indeed 'welcome' and a nice touch. I will be back to stay as there are other places locally that I would like to see. and it will make a perfect base. Great value for money and very highly recommended.

There was nothing I didn't like. The only thing worth pointing out is that access to the harbour is very close and easy but it is very steep and anyone with a mobility issue may struggle (this is clearly nothing that the proprietors have any control over - so is not a criticism just an observation). Nevertheless very highly recommended.
