Stylish quiet garden flat with parking in London Zone 4

Huge and nice apartment, clean and spacious. There was a garage, too. The owner is a nice guy always ready to help us. I did not see in the property details that there is a second toilet, which is great. We met with squirrels, it was really kind.

We were told that there is operating a machine against dump which is really good but it was noisy a little bit, but was not so annoying at all.

Nice layout, warm in the winter, nice open kitchen and living room which made staying here with my parents over the holidays very comfortable. Francisco was an excellent host and allowed us to drop our bags early before check in as we had a flight arriving early from the US.

The stay itself could have been fine, but the host’s behaviour completely ruined it. When we arrived (maybe slightly early), he told us the bed hadn’t been changed. Instead of actually changing it, he dumped clean covers in a drawer and left us to deal with it. Totally unprofessional. The worst part came the next day. I went out and my 17-year-old daughter was alone in the property. The host turned up again, completely unannounced. She heard noises and someone at the door in an already isolated location, and it scared her. He knocked and said he “needed” to give toilet rolls — even though an entire cupboard was already filled with them. There was absolutely no reason for him to come back. A host showing up twice like this, especially when a teenager is alone, is inappropriate, intrusive, and made us feel unsafe. It ruined what should have been a simple, stress-free stay.

Good location for Zone 4 Shortlands station, a short train journey into central London. Parking, washing machine, new kitchen, bathroom, TV with Amazon fire stick, all great. Warm, cosy and nicely decorated. Perfect for our little family. Hosts good and fast communicators.

Very minor but would have liked some more bathroom towels (had 1 each for 6 days), tea towels and/or a pair of oven gloves.

Very clean, very comfortable. Loved that it came with secure parking.
