Lily's Home

The location is perfect. You're amidst a great town (Lacco Ameno) on Ischia but in a quiet section of it. No cars or Vespas go down the streets which are quite narrow. But in just a few steps , you will be on the main Piazza and the main road which offers many restaurants, bars, enotecas, and views of the Mediterranean . A place like Lily's, too, is great because it offers a kitchen and a washing machine -- you'll also find grocery stores nearby to help you eat at home. Cooking in Italy is a real treat, with how fresh and amazing the ingredients are. Ischia, I hope, can remain somewhat a secret, compared to its more popular sister island Capri . I've been to both, and , Naples, the Amalfi coast , Cinqueterre, Ortigia.. and Ischia is the one that really charms me the most now, for how quiet it is. The islands got everything -- each town has its own personality, the landscape can change on you very quickly from mountain to seas to forests. It is just as captivating as Capri - make a point to day trip to Sant Angelo and the beaches reached by boat (only five euro by a guy on the dock). That, a long with the Mortella gardens, were the most stunning moments on Ischia for my little trip. Most of all, though, the host, Sara, gave the warmest welcome to Lily's Home. She welcomed us at the port, she recommended the best wines of ischia (everyone visiting should try Antonio Mazzella Biancolella, or any of the other varieties!!), information on traveling the island. She really felt like family in my small time there!

Host Sara was lovely and helpful. Great location - beautiful residential neighbourhood with bakery, fantastic beach, and bar near by, and close to shops and restaurants. Best town in Ischia - not too big but has everything needed, and can go anywhere else by bus. Compact unit which suited us. Coffee machine with pods. Washing machine, detergent, line, and pegs.

No balcony or water view but we knew that.

This was close to being the perfect holiday. Sara was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. She was easy to communicate with and very attentive to our needs. The perfect host ! Even drove us to the ferry on our departure. The house in a quiet location close to all amenities the perfect spot for a holiday. If there was gold medal for a host Sara would be an obvious contender.

Great home in Lacco Ameno in a residential quiet street. It was really clean and had everything we needed. The host was great and helped with anything we needed. Air con was really good too.

The home doesn't have an outside space/balcony to sit out/have a drink so that's something to bear in mind if you want that. It's also 8 minutes to the nearest public beach.

Location to beaches and pretty atmospheric town Host Sara was very very helpful- especially with taxi arrangements for onwards travel

Sara is a great host! She made us feel really at home. The apartment was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed.

Location, cleanliness, host communication response time and service. Good facilities (washing machine, stove, refrigerator). Great apartment, nice bathroom/shower. Cozy and calm street and neighborhood. Close to the beach (12-15 min walk). Close to bus (10 min walk). Close to Forio (10 min w/ bus).
