Riverboat Inn & Suites

Staff was friendly and welcoming, the main building/patio is quaint. The mural artwork on the French Quarters is beautiful & uplifting.

Room was quite cold when I arrived, no rug on the floor, very thin blanket, microfiber towels & sheets, walls carry sound, could hear the neighbor’s tv all night which made it difficult to sleep. The smell of the shampoo/conditioner/soap was very unpleasant.

We really liked the location of the inn, overlooking the Ohio river. It was scenic and relaxing. The walk in between the main inn and the inn where we stayed was fun too. The continental breakfast isn't too bad, pancake was actually good. Our room was cozy, perfect for us. We would like to stay there again.

We loved this place! We loved the "kitschy" (this is NOT a bad thing) look of the hotel. We were immediately enamored.. Upon arrival at check in the front desk girl was so sweet and helpful! In the main building where the check in desk was there was also a bar area, as well as a large covered porch where they were having live music. They informed us they have live music on Saturdays until May when they will then have it Friday and Saturdays along with a good truck. The property is divided up between two (maybe more?) buildings. Our room was located across the way in the French Quarter building. This building also had a great patio area and wonderful views of the river. We went with a room with a queen size bed as their king rooms were sold out. MOST IMPORTANTLY (at least for us) this was the absolute cleanest hotel we've ever been in. You could seriously eat off the shower floor. The decor in the room was keeping with the "french quarter" theme and was DELIGHTFULLY flamboyant. Seriously..this room was a whole ass vibe. We plan on going back ASAP to enjoy a weekend of live music. They had a decent continental breakfast in the mornings in the main building as well. At check out the employees we encountered were JUST as nice and helpful as who we seen at check in. This property is totally non smoking (which suited us fine) however you could smoke outside, ten foot away from the buildings. The value is incredible as well!

The rooms are smaller....as was the bathroom. This isnt necessarily something we "didn't like", it just was what it was.
