Woodlands 55 Cresswell

Good size, clean and well kitted out holiday home for self catering accomodation. Location is very good - very close to an excellent beach and great base for exploring and visiting places in Northumberland. Excellent communication with the owners throughout.

Not enough large towels provided despite it saying towels were provided (i.e. one hand towel for a child and one hand towel for the 3rd adult) and the large towels that were provided smelled unclean and damp so we had to wash them on arrival.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped lodge. Homely touches.

Clean, spacious, well equipped lodge in a quiet part of the park. Owners quick to respond in communication. Very nice accommodation

Shame there's no path between the lodge and the parking area, was a little muddy as we had rain during our stay:(

Caravan very well equipped and very spacious and comfortable. We were very impressed with it and would recommend. Hosts were fab too and quick to reply to messages. Lots of little extras were provided which were much appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay! X

The only point I will say is that there is no footpath to the caravan and if it has been raining heavily like it was when we visited, we had to walk across wet grass that was starting to get muddy too over our shoes. When your walking back and forth several times a day, it does become quite annoying. I understand that this is the parks fault rather than the caravan owners. The caravan could not be faulted at all.

It's very well appointed and as it's a lodge style caravan there's lots of space in the living area as to, the master bedroom. The two others are slightly smaller but they have full size single beds as opposed to the small singles in an average static. The communication with the owners was excellent. I felt if we'd had any problems they would sort it asap. We were even left a bottle of bucks fizz and some snacks which was a nice touch Overall we had a great time. I'd definitely recommend it and we look forward to returning in the future

The only minor problems were with the park itself. There's no path from the road to the lodge. The owners have put one in down the side but you have to walk over the grass from the road and with the rain we've had the ground is quite soft. We were also a bit disappointed to find out the clubroom wasn't open. Obviously this is all out with the control of the owners.

Very well thought out everything you would need for a perfect family weekend away. Beach just walking distance from caravan site.
