Non consiglio affatto questo alloggio. La pulizia era scadente, in quanto abbiamo trovato le federe dei cuscini con macchie giallognole, alcuni capelli nella doccia, tracce di sugo sul rivestimento della cucina: sicuramente la pulizia si poteva approfondire. Nemmeno l'acqua calda funzionava. La questione federe e acqua calda è stata risolta il giorno dopo a seguito delle nostre lamentele. Ma soprattutto, nonostante la zona giorno/notte dell'appartamento sia stata ristrutturata, la parte esterna dell'edificio ma anche quella interna a comune sulle scale è fatiscente, e il bagno lascia molto a desiderare. Inoltre benchè la zona sia consigliabile perché molto comoda e vicina a via Etnea, sul retro dove sono al momento in corso i lavori della metropolitana dormono purtroppo dei senza tetto. Tenete presente che non si possono lasciare le valigie nella struttura nel caso in cui abbiate l'aereo di ritorno più tardi in giornata perché la proprietaria si rifiuta, causando un altro disagio. In conclusione, credo che a Catania ci sia di meglio.

Some things like pasta, salt, sugar, spices, tea, and crackers in the kitchen and shampoos and liquid soap in the bathroom were left behind by previous guests. It was a nice gesture to leave them for the next guests to use. The location is great - it's in the center, next to grocery stores and restaurants. The internet connection is fast and stable.

It would be nice to receive instructions on how to enter and where to go. You will receive a link to a website that allows you to open the doors with your smartphone. However, I didn't know which doors to use after entering thew building (brown ones in the corner). There was no dishwashing liquid or fresh sponge to clean the dishes. There were only old, stinky sponges in the cabinet. The pans, oven, and plates were also dirty from previous guests. IMO basics like this should be covered. It looks like if someone leaves something in the kitchen, it will stay there no matter what. There was old, dry bread left behind, and some items were past their expiration date. In the bathroom, there is an unpleasant mold smell all the time. To get hot water, You have to fully open the tap. Opening the tap partially for a slower stream will result in cold water.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment right in the heart of Catania, just steps away from the Ancient Theatre and all the main landmarks. The location could not be better for exploring the city on foot. The flat itself is small but very cozy, perfectly maintained, and equipped with everything you might need — hair dryer, cooker, air conditioning — making it very comfortable for 3–4 people. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, always quick to respond, and ready to help with anything. They even gave us excellent recommendations on where to eat and what to see. We truly felt at home and would gladly return on our next visit to Catania.

Everything was great!

The vacation was wonderful! We celebrated the New Year 2025 in Sicily. We are happy with the apartment, the biggest plus is the location. Almost in the center, not noisy, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. There is a very nice park with a view of Etna nearby.
