Room and en suite were lovely

The fact that we only had 5 channels that worked in the room. TV remote not working properly, couldn't operate volume control. The lady changed batteries but still not working. Feel that the price you pay for the room you could have had at very least free view channels and not expected to pay £15 extra for a sky card for extra channels. They was a lovely bathroom but unfortunately the bath had to be filled using the shower head which I found strange and beeday didn't work. Breakfast was all set up nicely but found it very unfriendly as 3 people in kitchen and not one said good morning to us. After 10 minutes a lady put our breakfast down to us which we chose the full English the previous day then left. Scrambled eggs and beans were barely warm, toast was like it had been in the toaster for a few seconds. My husband went to the kitchen to ask for our breakfast to be heated up and for more toast but they were outside talking and smoking. So basically left with it wether we liked it or not. We have been in cheaper places than this and the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for you and always on hand to help. Another thing we didn't like was the 2 little dogs that live there on site were always at your feet coming and going and one in the dining room as we were waiting for breakfast. Which we both didn't like. So unfortunately we didn't stay the 2 nights as booked and left after one night. Nobody there to have a conversation with about things. The house itself is stunning and it's just all the little touches if changed could be so much better. Could be a lot more friendly and helpful to paying guests.

The house needs a serious make over and the owners recognized it. Things are old and poorly maintained. Hot water didn't really work either.

What a lovely gem. The building certainly oooses grandure and the hosts were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our room had been decorated beautifully with some lovely touches as it was our Silver Wedding Anniversary. The grounds were well maintained and plenty of areas for our dogs to explore. The Dining room boasts a spectacular view of the Trossachs, which is a welcome delight whilst eating your breakfast. The venue is well placed to explore Loch Lomond and the surrounding areas. Would highly recommend if you're visiting these parts. We wish Monika and Cliff all the best in their endeavours and hope all their plans come to fruition.

Beautiful location in the middle of the National Park. Property is very clean and beautiful. A lot of charming details. Small city nearby (5 minutes drive) has a great choice of restaurants. Room is well equipped, clean and renovated. Breakfast provided was very nice. Definitely recommend to stay here!

Breakfast was ok,I would have liked the cooked breakfast to be cooked when we sat down and not ready in advance,also at the price I think quality of the produce could and should be better.

Wea arrived quite tired after a wet drive from Manchester. We were greeted by Cliff who carried our bags to our room. And showed us around. Wow the inside was palatial as was our room. The breakfasts were brilliantly cooked and lots of food by Christina. We could not ask for more.
