Very clean house. Owner very kind and answered all my questions.

Very easy check-in and check-out; 10-15 minutes walking distance to Crawley train station and from there 10 minutes train ride to Gatwick Airport - perfect for my 8 am flight; nice, clean house in a calm area

There was powdered milk, so no complications over how fresh any milk might be or who it belongs to. There is a front porch, so you are not in the rain or the sunshine while accessing your keys and getting into the house. The wifi is very good.

Everything is fitted for someone who is over 6 feet tall. I'm 5 ' 2, so I struggled to reach the shower controls, and some mirrors were above my head.

At least there should be breakfast and drinking water for purchase

1) Price - single £50 July '25. 2) Communication. I do not have a mobile phone , host was excellent at keeping in touch. 3) Kitchen and attached covered space and large garden 4) Haven't gone yet but town ctre's 10 mins walk. 5) Quiet area. 6) Fan in room 7) Kitchen access , especially full size freezer 8)Rm 3 - good size , overlooking garden

1)As someone has previously commented - path from gate to font door is poor. If I'd arrived at night and / or had wheeled luggage it would be unsafe. Visible ugliness betrays sthe multiple attempts to patch this short ,uneven , 5 level path. Some attempts have made things worse eg stepping on 3/4 different surfaces. Very lax attitude to what is an easy / cheap fix. One bock or ramp at each end and level in between. One day someone will slip/trip 2) Profuse rules about not putting things on bed / bedroom furniture yet nowhere in room to hang wet towel other than bed/bedroom furniture. Again , easy fix 3) Again despite spick and span rule emphasis - ugly / hazardous bits of upstairs bthrm. Particularly random screw sticking out waist / childs head height. 2 mins to remove , instead just painted over. Shower base inside and out really easy to clean / recover / remastik. 4)Bthrm cabinet not so easy to remove all the rust now but a scour and quick spray with Hammerite would remove the ugly site and make it very easy to keep clean in the future. Please see attached pics. 4)No sink in the toilet (surely not allowed commercially, especially post covid enlightenment?) = have to go through 2 sets of doors before you can wash your hands (unhygenic for anyone touching the doors after you) / can't wash them at all if someone's in the shower! Host pointed out that there's a downstairs toilet with sink. I not sure that's acceptable once the house has gone from home to business. MY OWN FAULT - 1) Parking .The host is very clear about this but I had missed his description and gone on several positive guest rreviews. Pking is good as described but there is none i 9am-5pm Mon - Sat so I had to leave on Monday morning. 2) Also I failed to register there's no tv. BOTTOM LINE.
