"Ideal for my needs"

A little compact but ideal for a weekend away. I travel a lot on my own, watching non-league football, but I always rate a place on whether you could comfortably take your wife/girlfriend with you. This certainly meets that standard. On a quiet farm just a short drive from Wadebridge. Couple of real ale foody pubs nearby.

Nothing really. Maybe a towel rail in the bathroom?

Hawks Nest was a find! Accommodation was brilliant, warm, clean and superbly kitted out. Hosts were kind and accommodating. Location was top. Will definitely be back, thank you.

"Would have been happy to stay for longer"

A lovely secluded farm with a well sign posted entrance. The room has lots of amenities, and you have been really thought of as a guest. Everything and more was provided. I really enjoyed watching the tadpoles in the pond, and the lovely seating out front to enjoy the view. The shower has great pressure, which I was impressed with to say it's secluded. A really lovely stay which I'd have been happy staying in for a few days rather than just the night. My only thing was that we rang the phone number on the booklet in the morning and it wasn't answered which I understand working on a farm is all go so understandble! but we never got a text reply either, which would have been appreciated to say they couldn't help or didn't see the message until hours later etc. Maybe the booklet number is an old one?

A very clean and welcoming cabin separate from the campsite in a nice quiet location. The hosts were lovely people.

Maybe a slightly bigger seat on the balcony rather than the 2 seater currently there

Such a beautiful little property, had absolutely everything you could want ☺️ and a lovely hamper too. The property was spotlessly clean, so nice, quiet and cosy. I can’t wait to stay here again. We were so sad to be leaving!
