Mary's Lane

Mary's Lane is a beautiful property in which the hosts have clearly invested a lot of time, effort, love and money. It has a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge area, a good dining area for 4 (though if 6 people were staying two would have to sit at the breakfast bar) and lovely bathrooms. There is a feeling of space and peace throughout. It is in a very quiet location, but only 25 minutes from Belfast and the ferry. We found it spotlessly clean and it is well decorated throughout.

The bed! I am really surprised that in a property which has so much in the way of high end luxurious decor, facilities and equipment that they have chosen to put standard double beds in the double bedrooms, when both rooms are plenty big enough to take a king size bed. I know that king size bedding is more expensive, and more work to launder, but the bed there did seem incredibly small, and that significantly impacted our sleep, and therefore our enjoyment of the whole holiday. This seemed out of step with everything else in the property, but it's a very important element.

House was very new with ample bedrooms and bathrooms- large living/dining. I could live there permanently.

I thought the house was closer to the lake than it is. It can be seen from the upstairs window however. There is an excellent washing machine but wouldn't mind a dryer as well.

A beautiful property! Very well kept, gorgeous decor and spotlessly clean - perfect spot for a well deserved girls get together!

Everything. Beautiful decor, lots of space for a family of 5, comfy beds each with an en suite, well equipped kitchen, games for the kids, garden to play in, private parking, short drive to shops and sights, great walks nearby,
