"Aanrader voor Jinja"

De eigenaar probeert er echt alles aan te doen om te zorgen dat je verblijf comfortabel is. Oplaadsnoeren voor je telefoon, een heerlijk ontbijt en diner maar vooral ook de prachtige inrichting van het mooie pand! Echt een mooi boetiek hotel.

Als er wat is, kun je dit goed en snel met de eigenaar bespreken. Hij lost het dan op.

Cependant petit déjeuner extra

Hôtel situé certes face au lac mais loin du lac et face au bateau de navigation maritime donc très bruyant . Impossible de dormir la nuit car très bruyant entre la musique très tard dans la nuit voir jusqu’au lever du soleil , pas de volet dans les chambres

"Excellent hotel, excellent staff - highly recommended"

We loved the Jewel and the Lake. Friendly, efficient staff who went the extra mile to help us. The hotel was spotless and very comfortable; the food was excellent. It was easy to arrange boat trips and the hotel also organised a car for us back to the airport. I would stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Jinja.

"Comfortable and welcoming stay"

Quiet location on Lake Victoria with beautifully decorated rooms and plenty of space to relax on the verandah or sitting room. Nothing was too much trouble - washing, helping to clean our muddy boots and preparing delicious breakfasts. Also had a great dinner here one night. Walking distance to the Sailing Club just up the street. James was a welcoming and friendly host. Rooms are large and very clean. Will stay again when in Jinja.

"Best stay"

Everything was more than we expected. The host was great and helpful, we were running late because of the traffic and he waited for us. Breakfast was so delicious and huge portions. Small sitting area around fire pit is ideal for evening drinks. All in all best stay during our Ugandan trip. Thank you.

Nothing, everything perfect. Just a suggestion to put small table at the balcony for morning coffee

The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast delicious. The group I brought with me felt extremely spoiled. We had wonderful service by all of the staff. Sure hope to return in the future!

"Lives up to the name - truly a Jewel in Jinja"

A very friendly owner and the entire staff. Excellent breakfast (both option-wise and taste-wise). The upgraded room alloted to us was huge and very comfortable. View from the room (balcony) was very soothing and my only regret is that I could not stay longer. This property deserves a weekend stay because of the peace and quiet it offers.
