Adapted to my requests 😊 Location very close to the center, easy to reach the main street Garibaldy (in few minutes by foot). Many pastry shops and coffee shops in close area (few minutes by foot) Great parking spot.
It is a bit noisy, but usually before 23 00. So in the night I got a good rest.

La zona non è delle più pulite di Catania.

HUThe apartment itself was nice, the interior is tastefully done and feels newly renovated. The parking space is very useful and convenient, which is a big advantage in this area. The location is close to the historic city center, so many sights can be reached within a short walk.
The main issue inside was with the air conditioning: since the water is drained by a pump, it cannot be used at night. This makes the apartment very hot, and because the windows can’t be opened, no fresh air gets in either. The host promised me, she'll fix it soon. The bigger problem is the street noise. Between loud talking, shouting, motorcycles and honking, it was practically impossible to sleep before 2 a.m. We are experienced travelers and always carry earplugs, which helped, but even with them there were some very loud events that woke us up. Without earplugs it would have been almost impossible to sleep. The apartment is located in the San Cristoforo district – I would recommend that everyone look into what should be known about this part of the city, despite its close proximity to the historic center.

ITCasa bella, grande, accogliente e pulita. Bagno perfetto, con bidet(che non è cosa da poco) e doccia grande. In camera non mancava nulla ed è presente anche un angolo con tavolo e sedie, frigorifero, macchina da caffè e capsule, TV, e parete attrezzata per poter gestire al meglio quello che so porta in vacanza. Ha anche un piccolo spazio esterno per stendino e per stare seduti fuori. Il plus è il posto auto davanti casa. Agata e il papa sono gentili, disponibili e molto attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti. La posizione è strategica, vicinissima al Duomo in posizione centrale con tutti i servizi. Facevamo colazione comprando l'impossibile nei due panifici a 200mt da casa. Nel cuore della Catania viva ci siamo sentiti a casa, in un cortile dove tutti sono rispettosi degli spazi e della quiete altrui. Sceglierei altre mille volte di tornare a Casa Don Carmelo. Consiglio oltre alle classiche visite alle bellezze della città anche l'itinerario street art vicino zona San Cristoforo... Grazie per la calda accoglienza....
