Snowdonia Shepherds Hut, Hot Tub & Sauna

The views were absolutely incredible. Inside the hut had literally everything you need. We will be sure to visit again soon.

Nothing.

The location is perfect, it’s about the only thing I could I think of for it to be a good sale. Sheep made me laugh knocking on the door at 1am I’m the morning, the hot tub was nice all be it the lights didn’t work, you have to pop the outdoor lights on to see.

There was mould on the blinds and in bathroom, no fire wood as promised. Was not a fully equipped kitchen as stated, there was no hot water apart from the electrical shower. There was an electric radiator but that didn’t work, the cutlery was dirty and the pan wasn’t washed properly. The hot tub lights don’t work unfortunately.

THIS DOES NOT HAVE A LOG BURNER!!!!!! It advertised as having one when we booked and it does not have one! It also doesn’t inform you that there are sheep at the property or that there is a horse. There was sheep droppings everywhere, which is not suitable for a dog friendly property. The animals can access the property and during our stay we had to keep our dog inside whilst they were outside the hut. The hot tub is run down with a headrest missing and the buttons peeling. There was a water leak under the kitchen sink (which we easily fixed) but was clearly there for some time. We paid £660 for a week and it is not worth this. When I emailed them regarding the fact that the accommodation was not as advertised, we were simply told If you were unhappy with the accommodation not having a log burner you had the choice to leave but decided to stay. No apology or reason as to why the hut didn’t have the facilities advertised. FYI- the bathrooms not suitable if you’re over 6ft you won’t be able to sit down. I would not recommend this property. Spend your hard earned money somewhere worth it.

Incredible place to sit back, relax and reconnect with nature! Stunning views from a beautiful and private spot - we cannot wait for a return trip!

Such a stunning beautiful location. The hut was fab with everything we needed. There was lots to do in this truly magical location. We will definitely return.
