The Wen Inn

We really appreciated Marj’s (the owner) friendly ways. She made us feel welcomed and was so helpful.

Breakfast was awesome . Stay felt just like being in my own home.

Breakfast was great every day. Marj was so fun to visit with each morning. She was happy to make our stay comfortable and allowed us to store our bikes in a safe place overnight. Our room was so cute and comfortable.

The weather!

I’m glad the prompt here was “How was your breakfast?”. Because there were so many things I liked about the Wen that I didn’t know where to begin. So breakfast is a good place to start. I actually wasn’t aware that breakfast was part of the deal at the Wen. So coming downstairs to a freshly-baked egg soufflé and homemade waffles with banana maple syrup and hand-whipped cream and coffee, enjoyed on the porch overlooking the small garden just feet from the Root River Trail was a welcome surprise. But as good as the breakfast was, the actual Inn and the energy that Marge infused it with were the real treats. The entire experience made me reflect on what a profound impact your lodging-even for just a night-can have on a vacation and how it can become so much more than just another satisfactory place to stay. Thank you for making our trip to Peterson something we will never forget.

Right next to Root River bike trail! Very quiet. Welcoming host- Marj was great!

Quiet. Serene bluffs. Right on state bike trail. The Inn itself has historically Victorian vibe.
