Trish the host made us feel very welcome , and was always ready to answer any questions about the property or places to visit in the area. There is a local pub/ restaurant less than 5mins walk away which had a lovely beer garden with good food/menu. The accommodation offered plenty of privacy too.

Nothing to dislike about the accomodation.

Booked a 1 night stay just for somewhere to sleep, as it was close to family and just a 2 minute drive from Chewton Glen, where we were having dinner. The owner was very welcoming on arrival & the cabin was clean & looked well equipped-we didn't use the kitchen at all, so unable to comment on the appliances. Parking is out on the road, but appeared to be fairly quiet.

First impression does count & the main house/garden is cluttered all in the front drive and to the side of the house when walking through. The cabin is situated at the bottom of the owners garden & although there is some planting to try and give some privacy, we didn't feel comfortable sitting outside or leaving the door open, which was a shame as the cabin was really hot inside. The owners washing line is at the cabin end of the garden and they were their hanging washing out in the morning , which again prevented us from having full privacy. The small fridge in the property is noisy.

The host was very friendly, the cabin itself was really lovely and the hot tub superb. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could wish for.

Not really a "not like", but the cabin is at the bottom of the hosts garden and overlooked by the top windows of their house. You have to walk past the hosts kitchen and through their garden to access the cabin, which felt a little weird.
