GBThe location is stunning, Talland Bay is a lovely quiet area with single track lanes to get to it. There are views of the sea from the kitchen, living room, dining room and sun room. It’s even lovely in a storm! The 3 downstairs bedrooms are tucked away at the back of the house so it’s a quiet, comfortable sleep, even in a storm. Everything you could need is provided and the kitchen is beautiful. The walls from the property are spectacular along the coastal path and up to the church. If you like to dive or wild swim the location couldn’t be any better. The garden steps lead you all the way down to the beach car park, with a cute cafe at the bottom.
The place is all on one level, which sounds great for disabled people but there are very steep steps leading to the front door. We were comforted by the fact that there is also an entrance with 3 shallow steps, leading to the kitchen door. My Dad is disabled and we were hoping to use this entrance through the garden gate, but the gate was locked because I hadn’t heard back from the owners about where to find the key to the gate. It lead to a panic attack from dad and a very difficult check in which spoiled the first day a little. This isn’t the owners fault though as I should have checked these details in advance. The garden steps were do-able for an elderly couple. The tap in the en suite room downstairs did not work properly - no hot water and only a trickle. Both are minor things and overall, our stay was wonderful.

The door was very difficult to unlock and made gaining access a problem until we found an alternative entry point. The lock could do with a bit of attention. Apart from that there is nothing else that we didn't like. It's a perfect house in a great location.

Many details like binocular and timetables, games, black-out curtains, kitchen with plenty of crockery/glasses/cutltery (means no need to keep using dishwasher as "only" 1 thing per person), great towels, comfy beds, heating worked fine. Garden deck and view to die for! Two fridges! Two ovens! etc. etc.
