"Best place I’ve stayed in 4 months around Europe!"

In 4 months around Europe this was my favourite hostel! The hosts are amazing and even cooked a group dinner for us. Everyone you meet here is super chill, surfy vibes.. already organising my next trip back! Thank you guys!

Close sleeping quarters but all part of the fun haha

I had a wonderful, special stay in Vila Maria Hostel🌸 I slept there 9 nights and met a lot of really friendly lovely people. The hostel is really cozy and has a lot of space to chill outside for example in hammocks:) Also the pool is really nice. When the weather was bad for a few days they heated the pool and it was so nice to swim in it💚 sometimes the two owner of the hostel even made us typical Portugal dinner:) that was so nice! I would really recommend going there, also by yourself! The hostel has only twelve beds so you notice when someone new is in and probably get to know them☺️

The only thing that’s a bit annoying is that the bathrooms are behind the sleeping rooms so you have to pass the sometimes sleeping people when you come late in the night.

Location was very close to everything.

The shared space interacts too closely with kitchen and bathroom facilities which is very disruptive. Many guests didn’t observe the quiet time between 10pm and 8am.

"What a vibe"

What a nice hostel to chill and have a good time surfing and meeting people. Garden is amazing and the hostel has everything I needed and it was so clean.
